Music

At Southway Primary School we offer children the opportunity to experience and create music whilst developing an enriched knowledge of the curriculum. 

Each year is a chance to develop their creativity by listening, appraising and reviewing different genres of music with many opportunities to compose and perform.

Throughout their musical journey, children will benefit from singing assemblies, body percussion, choirs, bands, external music providers and they will get the chance to be part of live performance.
