At Southway Primary School, we believe it is vital the we develop children’s knowledge and understanding of the three key aspects of science: biology, chemistry and physics. Through our science curriculum, children will gain a secure and deep understanding of the natural world and the processes of science. In addition, children will gain an ability to apply their long-term knowledge in order to make connections between different scientific concepts. We aim to create an excitement for science that inspires curiosity. This involves guiding children to make sense of their physical world and their community through opportunities to plan, observe, present and evaluate.
