Year 4 Visit
Year 4 went a trip to the local church, St Wilfrid’s, as an introduction to our RE topic of Christianity. Father Ray and his team of volunteers gave us a very informative and interactive whistle-stop-tour of the beliefs and traditions of Christianity. The children certainly were enthused and were keen to learn more once back at school.
Here's what some of the children had to say:
“I thought it was an amazing trip as we got to know lots of facts about Christianity. It was very interactive.”
“My favourite part was learning about the history of Christianity and how it came to Bognor. I got to play the part of the Queen!”
“I liked learning about the baptism and the bible. I found out it was originally written in Hebrew and it has 66 stories in total, from both the New and Old Testaments.”
